Description of Application:
Applied to the sheet pile after sand blasting. Material was applied with heated spray equipment. The applicator used a cofferdam sealed against the sheet pile to coat to a depth of approximately eight feet below the waterline. After 45 minutes the cofferdam was removed and the fresh applied Raven 405FS was exposed to immersion. Raven 405FS will continue its cure process underwater. Approximately one mile of sheet pile was rehabbed in this manor. This project started in late 2009 and was completed in late 2012. Additional releases are expected as the budget allows. The products are performing very well.
