RLS Announces Resignation of Stewart Nance

Tulsa, Oklahoma,  -- RLS Inc. today announced that Stewart Nance has resigned his position as Acting President of RLS. RLS is a Cohesant business unit recently formed to focus on providing solutions to the municipal market. RLS will promote Raven branded products in the municipal market and will manage the Raven Lining Systems Certified Applicator network. RLS will also represent AquataPoxy and CuraFlo Spincast products in the municipal market.

Morris H. Wheeler, Cohesant’s CEO, said that “Cohesant’s Board of Directors accepts Stewart’s resignation and wishes to express its appreciation for his contributions over the past twelve years. The Board recognizes that Cohesant has greatly benefited from his leadership and dedication to the Company.” Wheeler noted: “RLS is a key element of Cohesant’s infrastructure rehabilitation strategy. Stewart’s experience and knowledge of the industry will be missed, but RLS has a strong team and I am confident they will continue to build upon and expand the legacy begun by Stewart in 1992.”

Cohesant has formed a search committee and has begun the process of recruiting a President for RLS.

Nance explained that he is resigning to spend more time with his family in Arkansas and to pursue personal business interests. In announcing his resignation, Nance noted “I take great pride in the accomplishments of the Raven team. We created a best-in-class technology foundation and partnered with the best coating contractors in the business. The team can build on these foundations to take RLS to the next level. I will miss them … it was fun.”

Cohesant Technologies recently announced the sale of its GlasCraft division to Graco Inc. The decision to divest GlasCraft will allow Cohesant to focus exclusively on its water and wastewater infrastructure rehabilitation businesses. With the sale of GlasCraft, RLS represents Cohesant’s largest business unit and Cohesant intends to build its strategy for the Municipal market around RLS.
